JDRF One Ride: April 20th
Our team at Hunter Diabetes Centre have taken on the challenge of the JDRF One Ride this April; an 80km charity bike ride through the Barossa Valley in SA. All proceeds raised for this event go towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and their goal of finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
We have decided to set ourselves the One Ride challenge to reflect the challenge of living with Type 1 Diabetes. We see patients every day who are living with diabetes and know the difficulties that come along with management and treatment. A world without diabetes is our ideal world, and finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes would better the lives of so many.
Every dollar raised by our team will go straight towards funding research into this cure – but we can’t achieve this alone. A donation from you would greatly assist us in reaching our fundraising target. Any amount helps; helps us find the 80km finish line, but more importantly, helps JDRF find a Type 1 Diabetes cure. So dig deep, and help us work towards a world without Type 1 Diabetes.Donate Now
