Are you pregnant, and you or your partner has Type 1 Diabetes?
We are currently partnering with ENDIA to research possible causes of Type 1 Diabetes in children. The aim of ENDIA (Environmental Determinants of Islet Autoimmunity) is to identify the environmental factors that may influence the development of Type 1 Diabetes. This study is observational and non-interventional, meaning your regular lifestyle is not interrupted, only samples are taken at visits and no study medication is given.
You may be eligible if you are:
- A pregnant woman with Type 1 Diabetes
- A pregnant woman whose unborn baby’s father has Type 1 Diabetes
- Pregnant women with an existing child that has Type 1 Diabetes who will be a sibling of the expectant baby
- A baby less than 6 months of age that has a parent or sibling with Type 1 Diabetes
